When you first create your event, HeySummit populates your landing page so that you can get started quickly. You have seen the CTA banners at the top and bottom of your landing page that both read 'Book my place' by default. If you would like to change this, read on to find out how to edit or remove them.
When you want to change the language of the banner, select Content > Translations from the left-hand menu.
βLook for 'Book my place' in the search bar.
Enter the text you would like in the box and click Save.
When you close registration for your event (Event Setup > Settings > Checkout Experience > Registrations open?), the call to action will disappear on your event site and users won't be able to see it anymore. You can test this out by using an Incognito window and heading to your event site so you're not logged in as an Event Organiser (you may still see the footer when logged in as an Event Organiser).
β
You can also hide the email field, so the CTA button takes users directly to the ticketing page without asking for an email first. To do this, go to the Page Editor, and under Properties for the CTA registration component, select 'Hide Email Input?'
β
If you want to remove the 'Ready to learn from the best?' Call to Action banner at the bottom of the page while keeping registration open, go to the Theme Editor > Footer > Call To Action Banner > Banner Style, and select 'None (hidden).'
