During an event, HeySummit can show attendees a banner at the bottom of the event site for sessions that are live or starting soon. The banner is generated from the event schedule, so there is nothing to publish manually.
When a session appears
A live session appears after its scheduled start time and remains available until its scheduled end time.
An upcoming session appears when it is due to start within the next 30 minutes.
Sessions are ordered by their scheduled start time.
If more than one session qualifies, attendees can move through them with the banner controls.
What attendees can do
Select a session in the banner to open its session page.
Use the arrows to move between qualifying sessions.
Close the banner to dismiss the sessions currently shown on that device.
If the banner does not appear
Check that the session's start and end times are correct.
Confirm that the event is currently running and that the session is live or starts within 30 minutes.
Refresh the event site after changing the schedule.
The schedule controls which sessions appear; event organizers cannot manually set a separate banner order.
