Use feedback prompts to ask attendees short questions during your event and review the answers from your event dashboard. Prompts can appear on a specific date, during a time window, or after a selected talk has finished.
Create a feedback prompt
Go to Registration & Attendees > Attendee Feedback in your event dashboard, then select Add.
In the Question tab, enter the question and an optional description.
Choose an Answer type: Yes or no, Text, Multiple choice, or Rating. For multiple choice, enter at least two Answer options, one per line. For rating, choose a Maximum rating between 2 and 10.
Open the Delivery tab. Under When should it appear?, choose Date, Time window, or After session.
For date or time-window prompts, set Show from and, for a time window, Show until. For After session, choose the session that should trigger the prompt.
If needed, select tickets under Only show to ticket holders. Turn on Active when the prompt is ready to appear; new prompts start inactive.
Select Save.
When attendees see the prompt
Eligible attendees see the prompt as a small feedback banner on the event site. HeySummit shows the first active prompt that the attendee has not already answered and that matches the prompt's timing and ticket rules.
Date prompts appear on the selected event-local date.
Time Window prompts appear between the selected start and end times.
After Talk prompts appear after the selected talk has finished, and only for attendees registered for that talk.
If you choose specific tickets, only attendees assigned one of those tickets are eligible to see the prompt.
Review responses
Go back to Registration & Attendees > Attendee Feedback and select Results on a prompt. The results sidebar shows response totals, response progress, and the summary that matches the prompt type, such as yes/no percentages, rating distribution, multiple choice counts, or recent text answers.
