OneStream Live is a powerful live streaming platform that allows you to broadcast your content to multiple destinations simultaneously or schedule pre-recorded videos to stream live.
If you’ve chosen OneStream Live as your preferred streaming provider for your live or pre-recorded sessions but are unsure how to locate your stream ID for integration with HeySummit, this guide will walk you through the simple steps to find and confirm your OneStream Live stream ID.
Step 1: Locate Your OneStream Live Stream ID
Log in to your OneStream Live account and go to OneStream Studio.
Click the plus (+) button near the top to open the embed code window.
Ensure that 'Get Unique Embed code is toggled.
Click Get Code to view the embed code.
Get the stream ID from the embed code. The ID is found within the token parameter in the embed URL and starts after the equals sign (
=) and ends before the ampersand (&).
Paste this ID into HeySummit's OneStream Live ID field in the talk settings.

Step 2: Set the Player Size to Responsive
By default, the embed player is set to Small. To fix this:
After pasting the stream ID, click the Size option near the embed settings. Change the size from the default small size to Responsive and click Apply Settings to save this change.
Please note that this setting must be done for each stream you create. The responsive setting ensures the player adjusts dynamically to different screen sizes, improving the viewer experience.
