Use a StreamYard recording for a pre-recorded session, or a StreamYard On-Air webinar for a native embedded live session. If you stream from StreamYard to YouTube instead, follow the YouTube Live guide.
Find a recording’s link or ID
In StreamYard, find the recording in your past streams or broadcasts. Open its three-dot menu and choose Share, or Embed & Share where that label is shown.
Copy the recording’s share link. Its ID is the string at the end, such as ns93t4mwz7kf in https://streamyard.com/ns93t4mwz7kf. Use your own recording’s link.

Add a pre-recorded session
Open Content & Schedule > Sessions > Actions > Manage Session > Broadcast. Choose Pre-recorded and Streamyard. Paste the recording’s ID or supported full URL into Enter your Streamyard video ID or URL, review playback options and choose Save and Close.
See the full pre-recorded setup guide and video previews. An organiser preview checks the player and layout; check the normal page with an existing authorised attendee separately.
Add a live On-Air webinar
Create the On-Air webinar in StreamYard and copy its viewer watch link. In the HeySummit session’s Broadcast step, choose Live broadcast > Streamyard and enter the live watch URL or ID. Keep the presenter or studio invitation private. Review the settings, then choose Save and Close.
StreamYard’s current documentation says On-Air starts with the Advanced plan and viewer limits vary by plan. Check current On-Air availability and pricing before choosing it. See the live embed guide for provider setup.
Choose the chat experience
Turn on Auto-embed Stream Chat if you want the supported StreamYard chat embedded with the live broadcast. Start stream muted is a separate playback option. To use HeySummit chat, Q&A and polls, leave provider chat off. In StreamYard, review On-Air settings > Watch Page > Live Chat and disable its chat if you do not want it available there.
