Ticket description settings let you choose how much detail appears inside ticket cards on your event pages. This is useful when you want a cleaner ticket section, or when each ticket needs a longer explanation.
In the Page Editor, select a ticket-style block, such as Ticket, Available Tickets, Add-On, Available Add-Ons, Donation, or Available Donations. The block settings can include:
Show Full Description?: show the full ticket description directly in the card.
Hide Description?: hide the ticket description from the card.
Hide Auto Summary?: hide HeySummit's automatically generated ticket summary details from the card.
If neither Show Full Description? nor Hide Description? is selected, HeySummit shortens longer descriptions and shows a Read More link. The full description opens in a sidebar so attendees can read the details without leaving the page.
The checkout ticket-selection page has a related setting called Show Full Ticket Description?. That checkout setting controls whether ticket descriptions are shortened on the checkout ticket-selection step.
