Use Group Speakers by Type? when you want the main public Speakers page to show separate tabs for different speaker roles or speaker tags.
When this is enabled, HeySummit groups the Speakers page into tabs for roles such as Speakers, Panelists, Hosts, and Moderators. If your speaker records use custom tags, those tags can also appear as their own tabs.
Turn on speaker type tabs
Open the Page Editor for your event's main Speakers page.
Open Page Settings from the toolbar.
In Properties, turn on Group Speakers by Type?.
Save or publish the page changes.
The tab labels come from the roles assigned to speakers on talks, and from any custom tag on the speaker record. If a visitor searches or filters by category, HeySummit shows the matching speaker results instead of the grouped tabs.
If you are editing a custom landing page component rather than the main Speakers page, use the Speaker Types setting on the Speakers Grid component instead.
