You can let attendees access a scheduled talk shortly before its published start time. This is useful when you want people to settle in, see pre-show content, or begin using the available interaction tools.
Set the early-entry window
Open the event dashboard and go to Setup > General.
Find Talk & Replay Experience and select Update.
Under Additional Settings, enter the number of minutes in Let Attendees In Early (minutes)?.
Use 0 when attendees should wait until the scheduled start time.
Save the change.
What this changes
The setting is an event-wide default for scheduled talks.
HeySummit treats the talk broadcast as available this many minutes before the scheduled start time.
It does not change the talk date or time, start an external webinar room, or change when reminder emails are scheduled.
If a reminder sends attendees directly to an external webinar URL, access to that room still follows the webinar provider's own settings.
