If you see a Zoom Token Invalidated error, Zoom is telling HeySummit that the saved connection for this host is no longer valid.
This can happen when a Zoom connection has been idle for a long time, when HeySummit's access has been revoked in Zoom, when Zoom returns an expired or invalid access token, or when the connected Zoom user no longer has the permissions needed for the webinar or meeting API.
Reconnect the Zoom host
Open your HeySummit event dashboard and go to Event Setup > Webinar Hosts.
If you are currently using a custom domain and the connection keeps failing, open the same Webinar Hosts page on your original HeySummit subdomain instead. The dashboard shows a warning and a Continue link when you are viewing this page on a custom domain.
Find the affected host and click Reconnect next to Zoom.
Sign in to the Zoom account that should own or manage the webinars or meetings for this host, then approve the connection.
Return to Event Setup > Webinar Hosts. The host should show the Zoom logo with an Active status.
Check the Zoom user's permissions
If reconnecting does not clear the error, check that the Zoom user you connected can access the Zoom REST API features HeySummit needs. For Zoom team accounts, this usually means using the account owner or an admin-level user with access to the relevant webinars or meetings.
If the host still shows an error after reconnecting from the HeySummit subdomain with the right Zoom user, contact us at [email protected].
