If you're having trouble connecting your host to the webinar and getting an error message from Zoom "Registration has not been enabled for this webinar", it might be due to a few reasons:

a) Have set a registration/attendee limit on the Zoom Meeting (and that has now been exceeded);

b) If registrations have been turned off for the Zoom Meeting )or for the account as a whole);

c) If you have a mandatory registration field on Zoom that doesn’t exist in your HeySummit event;

d) If the Zoom Meeting has now finished.

Once you have resolved the issue, press the ‘Resync Webinar Attendees’ button from the dropdown menu to continue syncing.

We only block syncing to Zoom if there's a specific issue reported by the Zoom API. If you're sure everything's fine on your Zoom account now, syncing should continue smoothly without any problems.

Please make sure to enable registrations; otherwise, we can't register attendees through HeySummit. They won’t be registered twice or asked to register again since HeySummit registers them directly for the meeting. When they click the link we provide, Zoom will already recognize them. (To enable registrations for Zoom Meetings, you need to be on their paid plan.)

If you set up the webinar manually, make sure to set the approval type to 'automatically approve' since when HeySummit does it, we're doing it automatically when creating the webinar ourselves.

After ensuring that registration is enabled and set to automatically approve, and confirming that all the mentioned settings in the error message are configured correctly in your Zoom account/webinar, press the ‘Resync Webinar Attendees’ button from the dropdown menu to continue syncing.

You can find more information in the following Zoom documentation on how to locate the auto-approval field and how to manage your registration settings.
