Zoom API Syncing disabled error

If you're having trouble connecting your host to the webinar and getting an error message from Zoom "Registration has not been enabled for this webinar", it might be due to a few reasons:

1. Your Zoom webinar could have a limit on registrations or attendees.

2. Registrations might be turned off manually for the Zoom webinar or your entire Zoom account.

3. There could be a required registration field in Zoom that doesn't exist in your HeySummit event.

4. The Zoom webinar might have already ended.

We only block syncing to Zoom if there's a specific issue reported by the Zoom API. If you're sure everything's fine on your Zoom account now, syncing should continue smoothly without any problems.

Please note that if you set up the webinar manually, you need to enable registrations

and also set the approval type to 'automatically approve' since when HeySummit does it, we're doing it automatically when creating the webinar ourselves.

After ensuring that registration is enabled and set to automatically approve, and confirming that all the mentioned settings in the error message are configured correctly in your Zoom account/webinar, you can reconnect the webinar host through the usual Event Setup > Webinar Hosts area.

You can find more information in the following Zoom documentation on how to locate the auto-approval field and how to manage your registration settings.
