Use the option that matches the attendee experience you want: play the video on the HeySummit talk page, paste trusted provider embed code, or send attendees to another website. In the event dashboard, go to Content & Schedule > Sessions, then select Actions > Manage Session for the session. Open Broadcast to choose its Broadcast Type and Provider; use Save and Close to save your changes. Configure a separate replay in the Replay step.
Play the video on the HeySummit talk page
For a live broadcast, choose Live broadcast, select the provider, and paste the stream URL or ID requested by that source.
For a pre-recorded talk or replay, choose the matching video provider and paste its video URL or ID.
For many named providers, HeySummit accepts the full provider URL and saves the ID it needs automatically.
Use Embed Code
Choose Embed Code when the provider gives you a complete iframe or script snippet and there is no better named provider option. Paste the complete code, not only the URL inside it. Use code only from a provider you trust because it runs on the talk page.
Send attendees to another website
Choose External URL when attendees should leave the HeySummit talk page and join the session or watch the video elsewhere. Paste the complete attendee-facing URL rather than host, presenter, or admin access details.
Before publishing the event
Save the talk and use Preview to test the video or destination.
Test provider privacy, domain, embedding, and sharing settings in a signed-out browser window.
Do not paste private host links, passwords, API keys, or other credentials into a customer-facing field.
