If a video or stream does not appear when you preview a talk, first check that the value you pasted matches the source type you selected.

When you choose a pre-recorded, replay, or live-stream provider, HeySummit shows the kind of value that provider expects. Depending on the provider, this may be a full URL, a provider-specific video or stream ID, or embed code.

For many provider-logo options, you can paste either the full provider URL or the ID. HeySummit will save the part it needs automatically. For URL-only providers, paste the full URL. For Embed Code, paste the complete embed code supplied by the provider.

For pre-recorded talks and replays, choose the video host first, then paste the video URL, video ID, or embed code requested by that source.

Common recorded-video sources include YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Zoom recordings, Loom, Canva, Mux, Google Drive, BigMarker recordings, Vidyard, Streamyard recordings, bunny.net, Tella, Vidalytics, Dubb, Spotlightr, Hippo Video, Gumlet, OneStreamLive, Twitch recordings, Wave.video, Adilo, Castr, HTML5 Video, and Embed Code.

For live streams, choose Live Stream, select the provider, then paste the stream URL, stream ID, or embed code requested by that source.

Common live-stream sources include HeyStream, Vimeo Live, YouTube Live, Vidyard Live, Streamyard, Twitch Live, Butter, Restream, Gumlet Live, OneStreamLive, Castr Live, advanced custom streams, and Embed Code.

Use Send to an External URL only when attendees should leave HeySummit and join the session somewhere else. In that case, paste the full attendee join URL, such as a meeting, webinar, or external event link.

Check that the video or stream is published or live in the source platform.

Check privacy, embed, domain, or sharing settings in the provider.

Make sure you selected the matching provider in HeySummit.

If you pasted embed code, make sure it is the full iframe or script code supplied by the provider.
