You can use a Vidalytics-hosted video for a pre-recorded talk or as a replay. The Vidalytics provider in HeySummit needs the user ID and video ID from the video's embed URL.
Get the Vidalytics IDs
Open the video's Edit page in Vidalytics after it has finished processing.
Select Embed/Share and copy the embed code. Vidalytics' current embed guide shows where to find it.
In the embed code, find the URL containing /embeds/. Copy the next two parts of the path in this format: user_id/video_id.
Add the video in HeySummit
In your event dashboard, go to Content > Talks.
Open the talk's ... menu and choose Manage Talk.
For a pre-recorded talk, choose Pre-Recorded in the broadcast setup. For a separate replay, open the talk's replay settings and choose a replay.
Choose Vidalytics and paste the value as user_id/video_id, then save the talk.
Use the full embed code instead
If you prefer not to extract the two IDs, choose Embed Code as the provider in HeySummit and paste the complete Vidalytics embed code. Do not paste the complete script into the Vidalytics ID field.
Test the video
Use the talk's Preview action and select the relevant preview view. Confirm the video loads and plays while signed in as an event team member. If it does not, check that both IDs are present in the correct order and that the video has finished processing.
