You can use a Hippo Video-hosted recording for a pre-recorded talk or as a replay. HeySummit accepts the Hippo Video embed URL or the video ID.

In Hippo Video, open the recording from your video library or assets.

Select Share/Embed Code, then choose the inline embed option.

Copy the Hippo Video embed URL from the code. Hippo Video's <a href="https://help.hippovideo.io/support/solutions/articles/19000117413-share-videos-using-links-social-channels-and-various-platforms" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">sharing guide</a> shows the current Share/Embed area.

Make sure the video has finished processing and can be viewed outside your Hippo Video account.

1. In Hippo Video, open the recording from your video library or assets.
2. Select Share/Embed Code, then choose the inline embed option.
3. Copy the Hippo Video embed URL from the code. Hippo Video's <a href="https://help.hippovideo.io/support/solutions/articles/19000117413-share-videos-using-links-social-channels-and-various-platforms" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">sharing guide</a> shows the current Share/Embed area.
4. Make sure the video has finished processing and can be viewed outside your Hippo Video account.

In your event dashboard, go to Content &gt; Talks.

Open the talk's ... menu and choose Manage Talk.

For a pre-recorded talk, choose Pre-Recorded in the broadcast setup. For a separate replay, open the talk's replay settings and choose a replay.

Choose Hippo Video as the provider.

Paste the full embed URL or the video ID, then save the talk.

1. In your event dashboard, go to Content &gt; Talks.
2. Open the talk's ... menu and choose Manage Talk.
3. For a pre-recorded talk, choose Pre-Recorded in the broadcast setup. For a separate replay, open the talk's replay settings and choose a replay.
4. Choose Hippo Video as the provider.
5. Paste the full embed URL or the video ID, then save the talk.

If you want to paste the complete Hippo Video embed code, choose Embed Code as the provider in HeySummit. Do not paste the complete code into the Hippo Video ID field.

Use the talk's Preview action and select the relevant preview view. Confirm the video loads and plays while signed in as an event team member. If it does not, recheck the embed URL, processing status, and playback permissions.
