Speaker permissions and ticket access solve different jobs. Speaker Settings control what invited speakers can manage in their Speaker Dashboard. Tickets control what attendees can register for and watch.
Choose what speakers can manage
Go to Content > Speakers.
Open the ... menu at the top of the page and select Settings.
Use the Dashboard, Profile, Talks, and Workflow tabs to choose what speakers can see or update.
Invite a speaker with Send login details when you are ready for them to use the Speaker Dashboard.
Speaker permissions can let speakers edit profile or talk details, but technical controls such as webinar integrations and generated speaker join URLs remain organiser-managed.
Choose what ticket holders can access
Go to Revenue > Tickets to create tickets, set prices and availability, and restrict access to specific talks, categories, dates, or other eligible content. Ticket restrictions apply to attendees; they are not a substitute for Speaker Dashboard permissions.
Ticket-setting changes do not automatically need to be pushed to every earlier purchase. Use Sync Settings to Purchases only when existing ticket holders should receive the updated restrictions or expiry rules, because the change can reduce access they expected when they bought or claimed the ticket.
If a speaker also needs attendee access
A speaker can join and manage their own talk without automatically receiving attendee access to the rest of the event. Give them an appropriate ticket if they also need to watch other ticket-restricted content.
