Base Credit Allocation for Certificates

Written by Jerica

Event hosts can assign a fixed number of base credits to attendance certificates. This is useful when you want to recognise overall event participation as well as credits earned from individual completed talks.

Base credits are controlled by the Credits for Attending Event field under Setup > Attendance Tracking, in the Attendance Credits section.

Base credits are only shown when certificates and credit awarding are enabled. Turn on Enable Certificates? and Award Credits?, then enter the fixed number of credits you want to award for attending the event.

These base credits are added to the attendee's total certificate credits alongside any per-talk credits earned through completed live broadcasts or replays, depending on the Talk Credits Awarded For setting.

For example, if Credits for Attending Event is set to 5 and Credits per Completed Talk is set to 1, an attendee who completes three eligible talks would see 8 total credits on their certificate.
