Please note, that there are certain scenarios where we may not be able to track an attendee's participation accurately. This can occur if they use a VPN, connect through a government or educational institution’s network (which may have strict firewall rules that block our attendance tracking script), or have specific browser plugins or ad-blockers enabled. Other potential causes could be related to the attendee’s browser, network, or internet connection.
You can send your attendees to the Attendance Tracking Test to check if they’re able to send their tracking data successfully. Just remember to replace the domain with your event’s domain, and attendees need to be logged in as an attendees. This page will run a few tests and let you know whether it was a success or a failure.

Event organizers have the ability to access detailed attendance records for each participant, providing invaluable insights.
The attendance certificate is designed to enhance the event experience for both organizers and attendees. This is ideal for events where providing a certificate of attendance is necessary or beneficial for attendees.
Attendees can view and download these certificates when logged into your event, providing a tangible record of their participation. It includes comprehensive information, such as the talks attended live, the replays watched, and the specific dates of each activity.
We detail the percentage of each talk watched and the number of sessions over which this engagement occurred. This is particularly useful for replays, where attendees might return multiple times.
To access the attendance certificate, navigate to Reports > Attendees > (...) beside the attendee's name, and choose the 'Attendance Certificate' option.
Here's what the attendee certificate looks like. You or the attendee can download a PDF copy:
Attendees can download the certificate by logging into your event and navigating to the "Attendance Certificate" section.
You also have the option to disable Attendance Certificates per Ticket Type to distinguish between free and paid ticket holders, allowing you to offer certificates only to those who meet specific criteria.
You can also disable attendance certificates at the event level via Setup > Attendance Tracking. If this is done, the field will be removed from the ticket form, and attendees attempting to view the attendance certificate will see a default message indicating that it’s either unavailable for the event or they don’t have access to it.
Other customizable attendance settings you can manage include:
Setting custom attendance thresholds.
Configuring an optional cover page for certificates.
Optional Certificate Cover Page:
Enhances the certificates with a polished, official look.
Introduces ‘credits’ feature, allowing you to award attendees a specific number of credits for each completed talk.
Offers fully customizable credit names and values to align with your event goals.
Important Things To Note:
If an attendee’s attendance wasn’t tracked, you can manually mark the session as either “Mark Attended (Broadcast)” or “Mark Attended (Replay).” This will immediately update their attendance certificate. To do this, go to the attendee’s record, click the “...” next to their record, and select Manage Talks.
This feature is automatically enabled for customers on the Success plan, with attendance tracking remaining active by default.
