Footer links can use either relative URLs or full absolute URLs, so you can link to pages inside your event site or to external destinations.
When adding or editing a footer link under Setup > Footer Links, enter one of these URL formats:
Relative URL: starts with
/, such as/schedule/or/replays/Absolute URL: starts with
http://orhttps://, such ashttps://example.com/community
HeySummit validates the URL before saving. If you use an external URL, include the full http:// or https:// prefix. If you use an internal event path, start it with /.
The Open In New Tab? option controls whether the footer link opens in a new browser tab. This setting applies to both relative and absolute URLs, so leave it unchecked if you want the link to open in the same tab.
You can also choose a custom action instead of a URL, but a footer link must use either a URL or an action, not both.
