Footer links can use either relative URLs or full absolute URLs, so you can link to pages inside your event site or to external destinations.
In your event dashboard, open Website > Header & Footer Links, then select the Footer Links tab.
Add or edit a link and select External URL under Link destination. Use this option for both an existing relative path and a full web address.
Enter the destination in External URL: use a relative URL starting with
/, such as/schedule/or/replays/, or an absolute URL starting withhttp://orhttps://, such ashttps://example.com/community.Set Open in new tab as needed. It is enabled by default for a new URL link; turn it off if you want the link to open in the same tab. This applies to both relative and absolute URLs.
Click Add Link for a new link, or save your changes when editing an existing one.
HeySummit validates the URL before saving. If you use an external URL, include the full http:// or https:// prefix. If you use an internal event path, start it with /. You can choose Action and a Predefined action instead of a URL, but a footer link uses one destination type at a time.
