Use Markdown links when a HeySummit field explicitly says Markdown is supported or offers a Markdown editing mode. This lets you link attendees to a workbook, resource, registration page, or another useful destination.
Add a link
Write the link text in square brackets, followed immediately by the full destination URL in parentheses: [Download the workbook](https://example.com/workbook.pdf). Attendees will see Download the workbook as the clickable text.
Where to use Markdown
Use Markdown only when the field's help text says it is supported or the editor shows a Markdown option.
The event blog editor includes separate HTML and Markdown modes.
The Event Setup areas for Legal & GDPR and Additional Footer Content explicitly support Markdown.
Check the link before publishing
Use a complete
https://URL.Use descriptive link text instead of phrases such as "click here".
Preview or save the content, then open the link to confirm it goes to the intended page.
To embed an image in a Markdown-enabled field, see Add images with Markdown.
