If you want a cleaner, more focused layout during a live presentation, you can hide the talk sidebar while the broadcast is in progress. This keeps the main video area as the focus for attendees.
The sidebar is shown by default. To change this for a talk page, open the public talk page while signed in as an event admin, click Edit Page in the bottom-left page editor controls, and turn on Hide sidebar in broadcast mode?
This setting only applies when the talk page is showing the live broadcast video. Replay mode and the normal talk detail page continue to use the regular sidebar layout.
