Create a secret ticket

Written by Jerica

Use a secret ticket when you want a ticket to stay out of your normal checkout flow, but still be available from a specific custom landing page or purchase confirmation page.

Hide the ticket from normal checkout

  1. Go to Revenue > Tickets.

  2. Create a new ticket, or open the ticket you want to make secret.

  3. Turn on Hide During Checkout?.

  4. Save the ticket.

This removes the ticket from the standard checkout ticket-selection step. It does not deactivate the ticket. The ticket still needs to be active, available for sale, and within any capacity or date rules you have set.

Add the ticket to a custom page

Create or edit the custom page where you want the ticket to appear, then add a Ticket component and select the hidden ticket.

You can keep that page out of your public navigation and share the page URL only with the attendees who should have access to the ticket.

If you are using an Available Tickets component instead of a single Ticket component, use the Exclude Hidden? setting to decide whether tickets marked Hide During Checkout? should be filtered out of that component.

What attendees see

Attendees will not see the hidden ticket in the normal checkout ticket list. They can choose it only from a page or component where you have explicitly included that ticket.

This is useful for invite-only tickets, partner tickets, special offers, or post-purchase upgrade paths that should not appear beside your main public ticket options.
