Hiding An Active Ticket

Written by Benjamin Dell

Maybe your event includes a promotional, invite-only, or early-bird ticket. You want to stop it appearing on the normal registration flow, but you still want attendees who already claimed or purchased it to keep their access.

Use one of these options depending on what you need:

  • Hide During Checkout? keeps the ticket active but removes it from normal checkout. This is useful for secret or invite-only tickets that you link to from a custom landing page or confirmation page.

  • Date Range on a ticket price controls when that price is visible and available to buy. This is useful for limited-time or early-bird pricing.

  • Delete removes the ticket type. Use this only if you no longer need to manage or sync that ticket. Previous paid purchase records are not deleted, but deleting the ticket removes the ticket row you would use for future changes.

Hide a ticket from normal checkout

  1. Go to Revenue > Tickets.

  2. Open the ticket's Manage menu, then choose Manage Ticket.

  3. On the Details step, turn on Hide During Checkout?.

  4. Press Save.

This does not remove access from attendees who already have the ticket.

Limit when a ticket price is available

  1. Go to Revenue > Tickets.

  2. Open the ticket's Manage menu, then choose Manage Ticket.

  3. Open the Prices step.

  4. Set the price Availability to Date Range, then enter the From and/or To dates.

A To date is inclusive in the event timezone. For example, a price available to September 5 remains available until 11:59 pm on September 5. To hide a price immediately, set its date range to dates in the past.
