Per-talk registration lets attendees register from one session page at a time instead of choosing several sessions during checkout. It works well for standalone sessions, weekly webinars, interviews and other sessions people may discover separately.
What changes for attendees
Attendees start from the session page they want to join.
When they register from that page, HeySummit adds the session to their schedule.
If they start the normal checkout flow without choosing a session first, HeySummit sends them to the schedule so they can choose one.
Turn it on
Open Event Settings, then select Registration & Checkout.
Under Can Attendees Build Their Own Schedule?, select No.
Turn on Per-Talk Registration?.
Select Save.
Things to check
Auto Register To All Talks? and Per-Talk Registration? are different modes. Use per-talk registration when attendees should choose one specific session, not when everyone should be registered for every session automatically.
If attendees should choose several sessions during checkout, select Yes under Can Attendees Build Their Own Schedule? instead.
After saving, test one session page as an attendee and confirm its registration button opens the intended single-session flow.
