You can use WebinarNinja for a HeySummit talk by sending attendees to your WebinarNinja registration link when the session starts. HeySummit does not have a native WebinarNinja embed. Use External URL when you want attendees to leave the HeySummit talk page and join the session in WebinarNinja.
Set up the talk
Create and publish the webinar in WebinarNinja.
Copy the WebinarNinja link you want attendees to use. For a public audience link, use My Webinars > Share > Copy Link. Registered attendees receive their own access links by email; do not share one attendee’s personal join link with everyone.
In HeySummit, go to Content & Schedule > Sessions.
Open Actions > Manage Session for the session you want to update.
Open Broadcast and set Broadcast Type to External URL.
Paste your WebinarNinja link into the External URL field and select Save and Close.
What attendees experience
When the talk is available, attendees use the talk page in HeySummit and are sent to WebinarNinja to register for or join the webinar. WebinarNinja may still ask them to register, enter their details, wait for the host, or follow other access settings you configured in WebinarNinja.
Before you go live
Open the attendee link in a private browser window to check the full join flow.
WebinarNinja requires registration; tell attendees to complete it and use the provider’s emailed access link. A HeySummit registration does not register them with WebinarNinja.
Ask hosts and speakers to join early for a camera, microphone, and screen-share check.
