Use an organiser preview to check the video source and page layout before your session. Preview does not prove that an attendee’s ticket or the video provider’s sharing rules allow access.
Open the session preview
Go to Content & Schedule > Sessions in your event dashboard.
Select Preview beside the session. It opens the public session page in a new tab with an organiser preview banner.
Choose Broadcast View to inspect the configured broadcast, or Replay View to inspect its replay. On an on-demand event, the recording option is Content View. The options available depend on the event and session setup.
What the preview can tell you
For a pre-recorded video, check that the correct recording loads. Organiser preview does not enforce the same scheduled playback position as the attendee broadcast.
For a live stream or connected webinar, preview can show the configured player or join experience, but it cannot produce a broadcast that the provider has not started. Do not start or join a live room just to inspect the page.
A missing-video message can mean the replay has not been supplied or the provider has not made the video available. Check the selected source and its privacy and embed settings.
Autoplay depends on the provider, browser and playback settings. Do not assume every attendee will get automatic playback.
Check real attendee access separately
For a restricted event, use an existing authorised attendee with the intended ticket to check access to the normal session page. An organiser can bypass ticket checks. See video URL, ID and embed-code formats and troubleshooting replay access.
