Use Session Reports to review bookings across active sessions, including upcoming sessions, and attendance and engagement after sessions take place. The report helps you compare registrations, live attendance, replay viewing, comments, votes, and available watch-duration data.
Open Session Reports
From your event dashboard, go to Content & Schedule > Reports > Sessions.
Use the session and date filters to narrow the report rows. For scheduled events, the rows show sessions whose start time has passed. On-demand events can show their sessions immediately. The booking summaries above the rows still cover all active sessions, including upcoming ones.
Select Export for a CSV. Session-report exports use dated sessions whose start time has passed, including for on-demand events. Use Content & Schedule > Sessions > Export when you need the scheduled session catalogue instead.
To review one talk in more detail, click the registration count or choose Attendee Report from that talk's row action menu.
Understand the booking summaries
Total session bookings adds up registrations across all active sessions, including upcoming sessions. An attendee booked into more than one session is counted once for each session they book, so this is not a count of unique attendees or actual attendance.
Average bookings per session divides total bookings by the number of active sessions, including sessions with no bookings.
Both summary figures cover all active sessions, even when you filter the report rows below.
What session rows show
The table shows Session, Status, Registrations, Live views, Replay views and, where available, Avg. watch time. Wider screens also show an Engagement summary of comments and votes. The CSV contains additional fields, including total views. When viewing-duration insights are available on your plan, Avg. watch time shows the overall average, with live and replay detail in its tooltip. A dash is shown when the duration is unavailable. Live and replay counts come from attendee attendance records. A replay view is counted when HeySummit has recorded replay watch time for that attendee.
Review attendee-level attendance
Open a talk's Attendee Report to see the attendees linked to that talk. This report includes completed-registration attendees with an email address. Its dashboard columns show Attendee, Session, viewing Status, Watch time and when they Registered. Use Export for recorded live/replay start, end and duration fields. For talks hosted on external webinar platforms, HeySummit may only be able to confirm that an attendee joined the live broadcast, rather than exactly how long they watched. Replay duration is recorded when the replay player can report watch time.
Export engagement results
Talk Reports also include row actions for exporting engagement data. Depending on what happened during the talk, you can export chat transcripts, Q&A transcripts, poll results, and comment transcripts. To export poll results for a single talk, open the talk's row action menu and choose Export Poll Results. To export poll results for a stage date, go to Content & Schedule > Reports > Stages and use the stage-date row action menu. Choose the export settings, select Export, and HeySummit emails you a download link when the CSV is ready.
Use Content Insights for trends
For event-level trend charts, go to Content & Schedule > Reports > Content Insights. When attendance insights are available, this area shows live and replay views over time, unique live and replay viewing records, and average live/replay watch durations for sessions and stages. The unique counts are per session or stage date, so they are not distinct people across the entire event.
