Check whether HeySummit is down

Written by Benjamin Dell

If you cannot open your HeySummit event, dashboard, or checkout page, first check whether the problem affects HeySummit generally, your custom domain, or only your local browser or network.

Check the HeySummit status page

For platform-wide incidents or scheduled maintenance, use the HeySummit status page.

Check your custom domain

If the error mentions an insecure connection, certificate, SSL, DNS, or the page only fails on your custom event domain, open Event Setup > Settings > Event Domain and refresh the domain status. Make sure the domain has the required CNAME record and any TXT records shown in HeySummit.

Rule out a local issue

If the status page is clear and your custom domain looks active, try a private browser window, another browser, another device, or another network. Browser extensions, cached redirects, VPNs, firewalls, and local DNS caching can make a site appear unavailable for one visitor while it is still working for others.

Contact support

If the issue continues, contact support with the event URL, the exact page you were trying to open, the error message or screenshot, and whether the same issue happens on the default HeySummit domain and the custom domain.
