Choose Live broadcast when you want a supported live stream to play on the HeySummit session page.
Add the stream
Create or schedule the stream with your streaming provider.
In HeySummit, go to Content & Schedule > Sessions. Open the session’s Actions > Manage Session.
Open Broadcast, set Broadcast Type to Live broadcast, then choose the Provider.
Paste the full stream URL or ID requested by that provider. For Embed Code, paste the complete trusted provider code.
Review any provider-specific settings and select Save and Close.
Available sources
The current stream choices include HeyStream, Vimeo Live, YouTube Live, Vidyard Live, Streamyard, Twitch Live, Butter, Restream, Gumlet Live, OneStreamLive, Castr Live, Teyuto Live, ZenStream and Embed Code. Connected webinar providers are also listed when applicable. Follow each source’s input hint rather than pasting a presenter or studio invitation. For ZenStream, paste the full player URL, such as https://player.vdocipher.com/live-v2?liveId=..., or its stream ID. Use your own stream’s actual value.
Chat and playback
Some providers show Auto-embed Stream Chat. Enable it to use the supported provider chat with the stream. To use HeySummit chat, Q&A and polls, leave provider chat off. Review Start stream muted separately where available.
Before going live
Use the organiser preview to check the source and layout, then check the normal page with an existing authorised attendee. Preview can bypass ticket checks.
Arrange an appropriate test stream before the event and check video, sound and chat with the intended audience settings.
Check provider privacy, embed domains, registration and plan limits. HeySummit access does not override provider restrictions.
