Plan how long you need to set up an event

Estimate your setup time and prepare a practical pre-launch plan.

Written by Benjamin Dell

There is no fixed setup time for a HeySummit event. Your timeline depends on how much content is ready, how many speakers or sessions you need to coordinate, which integrations you use, and how much time your team needs for review and testing.

Start with the essentials

  • Decide the event format, dates, audience, and ticket approach.

  • Prepare your branding, landing-page copy, speakers, and session schedule.

  • Connect any payment, webinar, streaming, CRM, or email tools you need.

  • Leave time for your team and speakers to review their details and test access.

Test before you launch

Run through registration, checkout, attendee emails, session access, and any live or prerecorded broadcasts as an attendee would. Fix unclear instructions or missing content before you begin promoting the event widely.

Use What should you check before your event goes live? as your pre-launch checklist.
