Uploading or Editing Assets and Swipe Copies

Share media assets, external links, generated promo graphics, and swipe copy with speakers, sponsors, and affiliates.

Written by Benjamin Dell

Media Assets and Swipe Copy help speakers, sponsors, and affiliates promote your event with materials you provide.

Use Media Assets for files, images, generated promo graphics, or external links to shared folders. Use Swipe Copy for ready-to-use text that people can adapt for email, social posts, or other promotional messages.

Media Assets

To manage media assets, go to Promoting > Media Assets.

From this page you can:

  • Upload one or more files using Add Assets.

  • Add a link to externally hosted assets using Add Asset Link.

  • Group assets into folders, such as Instagram graphics, email banners, sponsor files, or speaker-specific assets.

  • Choose whether each asset is available to speakers, sponsors, affiliates, or a combination of those dashboards.

  • Restrict an asset to specific speakers, sponsors, or affiliates.

  • Review generated promo images from your event branding and content.

Media Asset Link restrictions for speakers, sponsors, and affiliates

People will see the asset or external link from their own dashboard if it is available to their dashboard type and they are included in any specific-person restrictions you set.

Generated promo images

The Generated Images tab shows promotional images created from your event branding and content. These are useful when you want ready-made event, speaker, or talk graphics without uploading your own designs.

Generated promo images are controlled by your event branding and content settings. To change the underlying event branding, go to Event Setup > Branding & Content.

Swipe Copy

Swipe Copy is reusable promotional text that speakers, sponsors, and affiliates can use when sharing your event.

  1. Go to Promoting > Swipe Copy.

  2. Click Add Swipe Copy.

  3. Add the copy you want people to use.

  4. Click Save.

Good swipe copy should be easy to adapt. Consider adding short social posts, longer email copy, and any links or instructions people should include when promoting the event.
