Publishing takes your event out of draft mode and makes the main event site available to visitors. Unpublishing returns it to draft mode, so public visitors see the Coming Soon page again. Your event content and existing registrations remain in your dashboard.
Before publishing
Review your event content, schedule, tickets and registration settings. Check both the main event page and the Coming Soon page. See Preview or edit your event pages.
Use an organiser account with access to the event dashboard. The publishing controls are in the dashboard header.
You need an active subscription to publish. Accounts in a trial, with an unpaid or past-due subscription, or in hibernation cannot publish. HeySummit may also ask you to verify your email or add a payment card, depending on your account and paid-ticket settings.
Publish your event
Open your event dashboard.
Click the Unpublished status near the top-right of the dashboard.
Select Publish Event.
Review and confirm the action.
Once published, visitors can access your main event site and the public pages and registration flows enabled for your event. Publishing does not override your registration settings. If the event is eligible to appear on a public Event Brand page, its first publication can also send an announcement to that brand's subscribers.
Unpublish your event
Open your event dashboard.
Click the Published status near the top-right of the dashboard.
Select Unpublish Event.
Review and confirm the action.
Unpublishing hides the main event site and prevents new registrations until you publish again. It does not delete your content or existing registrations. Organisers and staff can still preview and edit the event while logged in.
If publishing is unavailable
Follow the message shown in your dashboard to resolve the account or event requirement. If the event is archived, restore it before publishing. Contact support if you are unsure which requirement needs attention.
