You can require organiser approval before new affiliates are accepted into your event's affiliate program. When this is enabled, people can still submit the public affiliate signup form, but they cannot access their affiliate dashboard until you approve them.
To turn this on, go to Revenue > Affiliates, open Affiliate Settings, choose Update, then enable Approve New Affiliate Signups? and save your changes.
When someone applies, HeySummit marks their affiliate record as Pending and emails the event owner with a link to review the application. The applicant sees a confirmation that their application has been received and is waiting for approval.
Pending applications appear in Revenue > Affiliates. Open the affiliate list to review each person. Pending affiliates show an Approve action; approved affiliates show the normal affiliate dashboard action instead.
Approving an affiliate activates their affiliate access for the event and sends them an email confirming that they can open their affiliate dashboard and start sharing their referral link.
