If you want speakers to receive affiliate links and track referrals for your event, you can automatically set speakers up as affiliates.
Open your event dashboard.
Go to Revenue > Affiliates > Settings, then choose Update. You can also find the same setting under Content > Speakers > Settings.
Turn on Auto Set Speakers as Affiliates?.
When you save the setting, HeySummit links existing speakers who have a user account to an affiliate record for the event. After that, new active speakers with user accounts are also set up as affiliates.
If you later turn the option off, HeySummit does not remove affiliate access from speakers who were already set up. It only stops automatically creating affiliate records for future speakers.
Speakers who are also affiliates can open an Affiliate Dashboard from their speaker area. From there, they can track referrals and sales, and update the payout email address used for commission payments.
