You now have more control over how you price your event tickets and add-ons. Whether you're hosting a fundraiser, a workshop, or a casual community gathering, this update provides you with the flexibility to choose between fixed pricing or allowing attendees to decide their payment, within the limits you set.
When creating or editing a ticket or add-on, you can now switch between a fixed price and a “pay what you want” option. With variable pricing, attendees can choose an amount that works for them, as long as it meets the minimum you’ve defined.
Set a fixed or variable price
Go to Ticketing & Payments > Tickets, Add-ons & Donations and open Tickets or Add-ons.
Open the item’s (...) menu and choose Manage Ticket or Manage Add-On.
Open Pricing. Select the pencil icon (Edit this price) to edit a price, or Add price to create another.
Under Price type, choose Fixed and enter the price, or choose Variable and enter the Minimum price. The currency shown follows your event’s payment currency.
Select Update for an existing price or Add for a new price, then Save and Close to save the ticket or add-on.
It’s a great fit for donation-based events, sliding-scale access, or any situation where you want to make your event more accessible while still covering costs.
This change gives you more room to align your pricing with your event goals and the needs of your community without complicating the setup process.
