Use a Zoom cloud recording as a replay without uploading it to another video platform first.
Add the Zoom replay
Go to Content & Schedule > Sessions. Open Actions > Manage Session > Replay.
Keep Will There Be a Replay? set to Yes. If a broadcast recording is already selected, choose Choose another.
Choose Zoom under Provider. Paste the full recording link or the recording ID into Enter your Zoom video ID or URL.
Select Save and Close. Use Preview > Replay View to check the player, then check the normal page with an existing authorised attendee if you need to confirm ticket access.
Preserve the full share link
For an HTTPS Zoom link containing /rec/share/, paste the complete link, including its query parameters. Zoom may use them for recording access. You can also paste a /rec/play/ link or its recording ID; HeySummit extracts the ID from a play link.
Check Zoom’s recording access
Use the cloud recording’s share or play link, rather than the live meeting invitation.
Zoom still controls recording availability, authentication, passcodes and sharing permissions. Your HeySummit ticket does not bypass those controls.
For another player, download the recording, upload it to a suitable video host such as Vimeo or YouTube, and select that provider in HeySummit. The player’s appearance and branding depend on the chosen provider.
