We introduced an improvement to the One-Off Workshop event type, designed to enhance the attendee experience by minimizing distractions. This feature streamlines the landing page, focusing solely on the event content. This allows for a more guided and engaging workshop experience by eliminating unnecessary elements like schedules, talks, and speaker menus that aren't relevant to single-focus events.

With the One-Off Workshop Focus Mode, the landing page now acts as the workshop’s detail page. This feature includes the following:

  1. Display Individual Talk Details: Attendees will now see the talk detail page directly upon landing on the event, helping them focus on the specific content of the session.

  2. Cleaner Layout: The main schedule, speaker lists, and talk menus are hidden to create a distraction-free interface.

  3. Next Talk Highlighted: If there are multiple talks, only the upcoming talk will be displayed, with others revealed sequentially as the current talk finishes. (In your event dashboard, the content/talk list will always show the latest session at the top. For this setup, we display the most recent talks at the top. This is intentional, since if you're running just one workshop at a time, it's helpful to have the most recent one appear first.)

You can enable the One-Off Workshop Focus Mode by navigating to:

  • Setup > Update Event Settings

By default, this mode is enabled for One-Off Workshops.

This ensures your attendees can focus entirely on the content that matters, enhancing engagement and streamlining the event experience. It’s perfect for workshops that need to guide participants through a specific session without distractions.
