Connect MailerLite to HeySummit when you want attendee registrations to be sent to a MailerLite group for your email campaigns and follow-up workflows.
Get your MailerLite API token
Log in to MailerLite.
Open Integrations.
Find MailerLite API and click Use.
Click Generate new token.
Enter a token name, create the token, and copy it. MailerLite may only show the token once, so keep it somewhere safe while you finish the HeySummit setup.
Connect MailerLite in HeySummit
In HeySummit, go to Event Setup > Integrations > CRM & Email Integrations.
Click Add.
Choose MailerLite.
Paste your MailerLite API token into the API key field.
Choose the MailerLite group where attendees should be added.
Save the integration.
What HeySummit syncs
After MailerLite is connected, HeySummit automatically syncs attendees who register for your event. Attendees are sent to the MailerLite group you selected.
If a subscriber with the same email already exists in MailerLite, HeySummit updates the existing subscriber instead of intentionally creating a duplicate.
You can also map HeySummit registration questions and other attendee fields to MailerLite subscriber fields. Edit the integration, then use the Custom Registration Field Mappings and Other Field Mappings sections. Fields that are not mapped will not be synced.
If you connected MailerLite after attendees had already registered, open the integration's actions menu and choose Resync Attendees. HeySummit will queue existing event attendees to be synced with MailerLite.
