ConvertKit is a popular email marketing platform used by creators, bloggers, and small businesses to manage their email lists, create email campaigns, and automate email sequences. It's known for its user-friendly interface and powerful automation features tailored for content creators.
You can effortlessly integrate your HeySummit event with ConvertKit to automatically synchronize attendee data. This enables smooth integration of attendees into your ongoing email campaigns, improving engagement and simplifying communication processes.
Just go to Event Setup > Integrations > CRM & Email Integrations > and then click on Add.
Choose ConvertKit and enter the API key, API secret and Tag ID to link your attendees to specific lists, groups, or tags within your account.
On your ConvertKit account, go to Settings and select Advanced.
Copy the API key and API secret then paste it into the API fields in your HeySummit account.
To obtain or create your Tag ID, navigate to the Grow tab > Subscribers > Tags. You can read more here for your reference.
Once connected to your ConvertKit account, we'll automatically sync all new attendees who register for your event. All new attendees synced will now include a new talks field which will contain a comma-delimited list of the talks they added to their schedule. It's important to note that we don't currently sync existing attendees.
You can also map specific CRM fields to your event’s custom registration questions using a dropdown menu.
To do this, go to the Integrations section under Setup, edit your CRM integration, and link the fields as needed.
