Manually register an attendee

Use manual registration when you need to add an attendee from your event dashboard instead of asking them to complete the public checkout flow themselves.


From your event dashboard, go to Reporting > Attendees, then select Add Attendee.


Enter the attendee's details and save the record. If the attendee should receive access straight away, you can select a ticket while creating the attendee. You can also open the attendee later and use the Purchases panel to manually assign a ticket, add-on, or donation.


Only use this workflow when you have permission to register the person and, if needed, contact them about the event. It is most useful for complimentary access, admin-created registrations, or cases where payment has already been handled outside HeySummit.


If the attendee still needs to pay, ask them to register through your public event checkout page instead. That keeps payment details and checkout confirmation handled by the normal secure checkout flow.
