Export data from your event

Find common event exports, apply filters, and download data now or on a schedule.

Written by Benjamin Dell

Many HeySummit lists and reports can be exported as CSV files. Use this guide to find the right source, apply any filters, and request the file.

Request an export

  1. Open the list or report that contains the records you need.

  2. Apply search terms and filters before exporting if you only need a subset.

  3. Select Export.

  4. Choose an immediate export, or create a recurring schedule when the Exporting Data panel offers that option.

  5. Confirm the request. HeySummit sends an email to your HeySummit login address when the CSV is ready to download.

Attendee and session data

  • Reports > Attendees exports event registrations, statuses, ticket details, referral and UTM fields, and registration-question answers. See Exporting attendee records from your summit or session.

  • Reports > Talk Attendees exports registrations for selected talks. You can also open a talk-specific attendee report by selecting its attendee count under Content > Talks.

  • Content > Talks exports the scheduled session list. See Exporting a list of scheduled sessions.

  • Content > Talk Submissions exports submitted talk proposals.

Sales, affiliate, and engagement data

  • Use Reports > Sales for event sales records, or Revenue > Tickets when you need the sales linked to a specific ticket.

  • Use Revenue > Affiliates for registered affiliates and Revenue > Affiliate Payouts for payout records.

  • Use Reports > Giveaway Winners for giveaway results and Reports > Email Logs for recent delivery logs.

Keep exported data safe

Exports can contain attendee contact, billing, marketing-preference, and custom registration data. Store and share each file only with people who need it, and delete copies that are no longer required.
