Scenario
Being in business is all about knowing your numbers and you would like to know where you can find this information on HeySummit.
β
Quick start
Attendees
You can find the number of attendees by logging in as the event organiser and navigating the left sidebar menu to Reporting > Attendees.
Here you will see a complete list of the attendees registered for your event. The list contains:
Date
Email
Name
Status
Whether a coupon was used
Who Referred Attendee to the Event (Referrer)
If the referrer is blank, then the attendee was not referred to the event by a unique link provided by a speaker or affiliate.
The total number of attendee records is listed in the upper left of the window just above the list. You can export this list by clicking on the Export button.

Ticket Sales
You can find the record of the tickets sold by logging in as the event organiser and navigating the left sidebar menu and going to Revenue > Ticket Sales.
Here you will see a complete list of the tickets sold for your event. The list contains:
Date & Time of Sale
Amount Paid
Email of Ticket Buyer
Ticket Description
Referral
Which Coupon was used
Payment Provider
If the referral is blank, then they were not referred to the event by a unique link provided by a speaker or affiliate.
The total number of tickets recorded is listed in the upper left of the window just above the list. This number may represent multiple tickets purchased by a single attendee depending on how you configured the tickets and if the attendee decided to upgrade. This list shows both free and paid tickets. You can export this list by clicking on the Export button at the top.
Affiliate Payouts
You can find a record of affiliates and the commission they are owed by navigating the left sidebar menu to Revenue > Affiliate Payouts.
Here you will see a complete list of the registered affiliates for your event, and their earned commission by month. The payout amount is based on the ticket price at the point of sale and is represented in USD since the ticket sale price is currently only available in US dollars.
The total number of commission records is listed in the upper left of the window just above the list. You can export this list by clicking on the Export button.
Note: It is the responsibility of you, the event organiser, to pay affiliates. These reports are purely shown for your own reporting purposes - so that you know who is owed what.
βHeySummit prevents affiliates from being paid if they use their own link to buy a ticket. If the affiliate registers through their own link, we unlink the affiliate from the purchase if the email addresses match. This means that an affiliate would be unlinked if they use the same email address for both the ticket purchase and their account. The affiliate could potentially still use their link and register the sale, but they would have to use another email address or sign up under a different name.
Because of this, you as the event organiser can always look for any irregularities in your affiliate purchases by checking the ticket sales CSV file. To get there, go to your organiser dashboard and click on Revenue > Ticket Sales. You can then Export the file and manually check the referral entries for any suspicious activity.
You can also check sales for ticket types to identify irregularities. To check how many tickets you sold by ticket type, you can go to Revenue > Tickets and click on the number next to the ticket type.
