An attendee’s personal schedule records sessions they want to attend. It does not itself grant permission to watch a broadcast or replay. Access still depends on their valid ticket or add-on and the session’s access rules.
Control which sessions attendees can add
Ticket restrictions and the event’s schedule setting work together:
Open Ticketing & Payments > Tickets, Add-ons & Donations > Tickets, then the ticket’s Actions > Manage Ticket > Access.
Under Advanced access restrictions, choose the permitted sessions, days or categories, exclusions, or a maximum number of sessions. Select Save on the final Access step.
Open Event Settings > Event Experience > Registration & Checkout. Under Can Attendees Build Their Own Schedule?, choose Yes and turn on Limit Talks Based on Ticket?, then Save.
With ticket-based limiting enabled, the available session choices reflect the attendee’s tickets and add-ons. These checks also apply when they add sessions after checkout; they are not limited to checkout. An unrestricted all-access ticket can make the full schedule available, and open-access sessions can be available without the same ticket restrictions. With limiting off, attendees can express interest in sessions outside their ticket. Adding a session does not upgrade their ticket. Session reminders also depend on the published email, the attendee’s communication preferences and registration status, and the session’s reminder settings.
Check access separately from registrations
A session registration export shows interest and registrations. Do not treat it as proof that every listed attendee currently has permission to watch. When investigating access, check their active purchase, ticket content permissions and expiry as well as their schedule.
