For in-person and hybrid events, you can link a ticket to one or more venues. This is useful when a ticket should only apply to certain locations, or when attendees need to choose which venue they will attend.
Associate venues with a ticket
When editing a normal ticket, use the venue section to add one or more venues. Add-ons and donations do not use ticket-venue options.
Let attendees choose a venue during checkout
When a selected ticket has more than one venue option, checkout includes a Select Venue step. Attendees choose one venue for each ticket they are buying, which is especially useful for satellite locations or venue-specific attendance.
Set optional venue capacity
Each ticket-venue option can have its own optional Quantity Available. If you set a quantity, HeySummit tracks the sold count for that ticket and venue, shows remaining places during venue selection, and prevents sold-out venue selections from being completed.
What attendees see
The venue selection step shows the venue title, location summary, image, and description details so attendees can pick the right location before continuing checkout.
Change a venue after purchase
For in-person purchases, you can update the venue linked to an attendee's ticket if they need to change location. Go to Reports > Attendees, open the attendee, choose Manage Tickets, and use the Change Venue action next to the relevant ticket.
