HeySummit creates public pages and a sitemap for a published event. You can improve how those pages are described and help search engines discover them, but no setting can guarantee that a page will be indexed or ranked.
Update your event content
Open Event Setup > Event Branding & Content and review the SEO and Social Content fields.
Write a clear event strapline and short strapline. HeySummit uses the short version in page descriptions and social-sharing metadata.
Use descriptive talk titles, speaker bios, category descriptions, image alt text, and useful page content. These help visitors and give search engines meaningful text to understand.
Submit your sitemap
Your event sitemap is available at https://your-event-domain/sitemap.xml. For a live, public event it includes core event pages plus active talks, speakers, and categories.
Verify the event domain in Google Search Console.
Open the Sitemaps report and submit the sitemap URL.
Use URL Inspection when you need to request a recrawl for a small number of changed pages.
Google describes sitemap submission as a discovery hint, not a guarantee. Crawling can take from a few days to a few weeks, and requesting the same URL repeatedly does not make crawling faster.
Meta keywords are not needed
Google does not use the meta-keywords tag for indexing or ranking. Focus on accurate page titles, descriptions, and useful visible content instead.
See Google's current guidance on building and submitting sitemaps, requesting a recrawl, and supported meta tags.
