If a social post still shows an old event image or description after you update HeySummit, first confirm that the public event page is showing the new content. Social platforms can store their own preview of a URL, so a new HeySummit image does not always replace an existing social preview immediately.
Check the image in HeySummit
Go to Setup > General and open Branding & Content.
Confirm the relevant Primary Promo Image or Speaker/Talk Promo Image is current.
Open Promoting > Assets and check that the generated asset is correct.
Open the exact public event, speaker, talk, stage, or sponsor URL you plan to share and confirm that it loads normally.
Ask the social platform to refresh the URL
Facebook: enter the exact public URL in the Meta Sharing Debugger, then scrape it again.
LinkedIn: enter the exact public URL in the LinkedIn Post Inspector.
A refreshed preview normally applies to new shares. An existing post can keep the preview it already stored, and other platforms may have different refresh tools or cache rules. HeySummit cannot directly clear a third-party platform cache or guarantee a fixed refresh time.
