HeySummit does not have a separate native Dacast provider. You can still use Dacast with a talk by embedding a Dacast player on the HeySummit talk page, or by sending attendees to a Dacast share link.
Embed Dacast in HeySummit
Create or prepare the live stream in Dacast.
Copy the Dacast embed code for the stream.
In HeySummit, go to Content > Talks.
Open the ... menu for the talk, then choose Manage Talk.
When asked how you would like to broadcast the talk, choose Live Stream.
Choose Embed Code and paste the Dacast embed code.
Click Save.
Use this option when you want attendees to watch the Dacast player on the HeySummit talk page.
Send attendees to Dacast instead
If you want attendees to watch directly on Dacast, copy the Dacast share link and choose Send to an External URL in HeySummit.
Before going live
Preview the HeySummit talk after saving the embed code or external URL.
Start a test stream so you can confirm the Dacast player or share link works for attendees.
Check any Dacast privacy, paywall, domain, or player restrictions that could affect playback on the HeySummit talk page.
