Icebreaker now appears under the Gatheround brand. It is not a separate HeySummit broadcast provider, but you can still send attendees to a Gatheround or Icebreaker session using Send to an External URL.
Add the session link
Create the session in Gatheround or Icebreaker and copy the attendee link.
From your HeySummit dashboard, go to Content > Talks.
Open the ... menu for the talk, then choose Manage Talk.
When asked how you would like to broadcast the talk, choose Send to an External URL.
Paste the attendee link into the field.
Click Save.
When the talk starts, attendees will be sent from HeySummit to the Gatheround or Icebreaker link.
Before going live
Test the attendee flow so you know whether the external platform asks attendees to enter a name, sign in, or grant camera and microphone permissions.
Join early so the host and speakers can check audio, video, permissions, and the session agenda.
If you want the talk to play inside the HeySummit talk page, use one of HeySummit's supported embedded webinar, live-stream, or pre-recorded options instead of External URL.
