Depending on the structure of your event, you may find that linking talks to categories is redundant and just adds confusion to the attendees when choosing / browsing your events content.
With this new update, you can now choose to hide categories from your event. If activated, we'll no longer ask you to link talks to categories when creating them, we'll no longer show the categories page on the public event pages and we'll no longer ask attendees to choose their preferred categories during registration.
To access this new toggle, head to Event Setup > Event Basics.
