Preview or edit your event pages

Written by Benjamin Dell

Use preview mode to check what attendees will see before you publish your event, and use the page editor when you need to change the content or layout of an event page.

New events start in Draft Mode. While an event is in draft mode, public visitors see the Coming Soon page instead of the main event site. Event organisers and staff can still preview both versions while logged in.

Preview the main landing page or coming soon page

  1. Go to your event dashboard.

  2. In the setup checklist, use Review Landing Page to preview the main event page, or Review Coming Soon Page to preview the page visitors see before the event is published.

  3. When you are viewing a draft event page, use the purple draft-mode banner at the top of the page to switch between Preview Main Landing Page and Preview Coming Soon Page.

Edit a page from the public preview

  1. Open the page you want to edit while logged in as an event organiser or staff user.

  2. Use the controls in the bottom corner of the page.

  3. Select Edit Page to edit that page's sections and blocks in the page builder.

  4. Select Edit Theme to adjust event-wide styling, or Edit Content to edit customer-facing copy directly on the page where supported.

  5. Select Manage Pages if you need to edit header links or move between event pages.

When you are finished editing, use Exit Page Editor, Exit Theme Editor, or Exit Content Editor from the same bottom-corner controls.

These editing controls are only shown to logged-in organisers and staff. Attendees will not see them on your public event site.
