Publishing your event takes it out of Draft Mode and makes the main event site available to visitors. Unpublishing puts the event back into draft mode so public visitors see the Coming Soon page again.
Before publishing, use the Preview & Publish checklist on your event dashboard to review both pages:
Review Coming Soon Page: the page visitors see while the event is still in draft mode.
Review Landing Page: the main event page visitors see after the event is published.
Publish your event
Go to your event dashboard.
Open the Preview & Publish setup checklist.
Select Publish Event.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Once the event is published, visitors can access the main event site, including the public pages and registration flows that are enabled for your event.
Unpublish your event
If you need to hide the event again, use the event action that returns the event to draft mode. Depending on where you are in the dashboard, this may appear as Set Draft or an unpublish option.
Unpublishing does not delete your event content. It changes the event back to draft mode so the public site is hidden and visitors see the Coming Soon page instead. Organisers and staff can still preview and edit the event while logged in.
If HeySummit cannot publish the event, the dashboard will show the reason and what to do next. Follow that prompt, or contact support if you are not sure which account or event setting needs attention.
